The woman has dark backgrounds and then – enter the boys to rescue them, in their own way, so to speak. I gave them all 4 stars and it has a lot of spice.

My thoughts:
When Linc, the team captain, and idol for all of the other team players, accidentally texts the wrong number and get a look of the girl on the other side of the phone he’s instantly obsessed with her and begins to stalk her after contacting his PI. She doesn’t know who the famous hockey captain is and doesn’t know anything about sport but that is about to change when they finally meet at a party where she’s the server. He’ll do anything to get her as close as possible and has no boundaries to get there.
This first book in the series is a good introduction to this group of obsessed guys and what kind of lengths they’re willing to go for their women and help them move on from their pasts. Spicy and hot! He also handcuffs her to keep her from running away, yep!

Ari and Blake (formerly Layla) both grew up in foster care and for a couple of weeks they both lived in the same group home and became close friends but then Blake got adopted and they never saw each other again. Until Ari is traveling and sees her on a billboard on the road and he knows it’s her. He takes action immediately and transfer hockey team from Dallas to L.A. and begins to stalk her and meets her at the restaurant where she works while trying to become a model. She doesn’t recognize him at first and isn’t struck by this famous hockey player now sitting by her table. When she finally finds out who he is – her first crush, she can’t help but keep him close – even though she has a fiancé waiting for her, or more of a bf because she denied his proposal. Ari is working in the background and keeps the bf at a distance and works his funny charm on Blake. Nothing and no one(s) will stand in his way to get his girl back.
You can’t help but laugh at this funny and charming man even though he’s obsessed and a stalker, but that’s why you keep reading about these hot guys.

Olivia grows up to be a singer but her mum just sees money signs in her eyes and uses Olivia for that and when her mum gets a contract at the age of 7 with some sketchy manager – it’s downhill from there for Olivia. To cope with her life and performing on stage, she medicates herself and is always high during her performances. Then, finally, one day she had enough and threatens to not sing anymore and get away from the fame and to get a pause in her life. She goes to a hockey game where her cousin plays and she sits with his girlfriend. Walker spots her in the stands and meets her after the game. He falls for her instantly even though they don’t know each other and he doesn’t know who she is, because she’s under disguise. She wants to live a little and wants to take things further – to a one night stand, but because he’s already so obsessed with this beautiful woman, he makes wholes in c*ndom to get her pregnant, yeah he’s kinda crazy like that. From there he doesn’t give her up and it’s fast forward.
Walker is the beautiful goalie who obsessed with his girl and uses the so called “Circle of Trust” (Lincoln and Ari) and their contacts and “advises” to stalk and obsess over Olivia more. It’s a dark hockey romance where Olivia has a tough background with her upbringing, drug issues and being used by her manager, who’s a real sleaze ball!

Then he meets her at the shelter he volunteers at sometimes, but she’s one of the receivers, how come such a talented ballerina is getting food at the shelter? He tries to talk to her but she isn’t letting him in. He also uses his contacts from “the Circle of Trust” (aka Lincoln, Ari and Walker) to get more information on his ballerina. He shows up at her work place and slowly worms his way in her life, is she willing to let him in or keep him out?
This age gap dark hockey romance is truly good to read and you can’t help to fall for this ‘Hero’ of the group and how he swoops in and rescues his girl from her miserable life as a homeless ballerina.

In this heart aching dark ice hockey romance we follow Sloane, a sex worker who gets groomed by her uncle who is rich (by his “company”) and who adopted Sloane when she was 16. Her virginity was sold and after that she’s stuck in the dark world and becomes emotionless. Enter Logan York – the star rookie for the Dallas team and when he gets her attention he wont stop at nothing to get her. Through the amazing PI of the Circle of Trust, he gets some info about this Sloane and then hires her to keep her near, but can he get her for himself and will she get free and feel real emotions again?
You can’t help but feel for poor Sloane who has to work in that industry and was groomed by her own uncle, but money is money no matter where it comes from, right?! Logan York toughens up and get into action to keep his dream woman to himself.
